📄 Project Abstract

The objectives of this project were to investigate why less women are involved in the area of programming than men are, and to look at the programming languages used in teaching and to assess whether these are suitable for introductions to programming. The project looks at the exclusivity at the subject and investigates what sort of students continue in programming. The research also tests men and women and their approach to differing programming problems.
