📄 Project Abstract

The aim of this project is to improve on a previous project (either by building on the existing system or starting from scratch) to develop informative, flexible, efficient and attractive approaches for the visualisation of water wave simulations. An existing 2D numerical wave model (OTT-2D) will be used to generate the water wave simulations in binary data form, which will be transformed into a 3D visualisation that can be used to explore areas of interest on the water surface and bed topography, whilst simultaneously displaying the water velocity and producing animations of the wave run-up
