📄 Project Abstract

The Circle of Willis is a neurovascular structure in the brain. Successful visualisation of this structure represents an outstanding problem in the field of medical imaging. The project presented here attempts to extract and visualise the Circle of Willis using a variety of common image processing techniques. The data to be visualised is captured using Magnetic Resonance Angiography and has been provided courtesy of Dr. Tim David of the Christchurch Medical Institute, New Zealand.
