Version Control Of LATEX Documents

📄 Project Abstract

The aim of this project is to design and implement a system to track revisions of LATEX documents over a network. The system should allow multiple users to download a required version of a document, upload a modified version, track changes, and roll back edits where necessary. It should log who has changes to a document and display their edits, and should not allow a user who does not have permission to view a document to access it. 1.2 Minimum Requirements The minimum requirements are to: * Create a system that tracks revisions of LATEX documents * That works over a network (to allow multiple collaborators) * Logs who has made changes and does not allow those not authorised to access confidential documents The system could be extended to allow submission of other files, such as plaintext documents. It could go further by allowing contributors to discuss a document with all other contributors from within the system without having to use other forms of communication like email or IM. 1....
