UTILIZATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PRINCIPAL'S ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS IN ENUGU STATE

📄 Project Abstract

The study was on utilization of information and communication technology for the improvement of principal's administrative tasks in Enugu State. It examined the extent, to which use of phone calls, short messages, computer and internet can help to improve principal's administrative tasks and the skills needed for effective use of information and communication technology accessories in the schools. Four research questions and two null hypotheses guided the study. A survey design was adopted. The sample was one hundred and twenty principals, drawn for two hundred and eighty six public secondary schools in Enugu State. A structured questionnaire that consisted of 30 items was the instrument used in this study. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation in answering the research questions and t-test for testing the null hypotheses.
