Public Private Partnership (PPP) has been identified as a potential and practicable solution to tackling the difficulties and problems in the progress of housing development especially in developing countries. The involvement of the private sector will help to reduce burden on government and accelerate the provision of affordable housing for all. In applying PPP in housing delivery, a number of key conditions for success were identified. These are: clear and understandable frameworks, political stability, extensive support from the legislature, and local stock and a developed capital markets. Evaluation studies have been carried out on issues crucial to the acceptance and sustainability of the scheme like political, economic, social and environmental factors of administrative objectives, technical workability, finance and accessibility, and so on.
