📄 Project Abstract

First of all, reviewing the published literature of scenarios, collaborative systems, and evaluation methods and procedures has been done on the early stage of this project and was presented in Chapter 2 - Literature Review. Different definitions of scenario, their design and uses in evaluations, different types of collaborative systems and the potential candidates for this project, issues in usability evaluation, different evaluation approaches and methods and their corresponding techniques and procedures, all these have been included in Chapter 2. Based on the literature reviewed, a four-step evaluation procedure was discussed and chosen for this project. The steps include: Objectives, design of the experiment, process of the experiment and analysis of outcomes. Two evaluations, pilot evaluation and main evaluation were carried out following this evaluation procedure. The pilot evaluation was carried out first to test the design of the experiment and to gain the experience of conduct...
