📄 Project Abstract

The aim of this project is to investigate the potential use of technology to eliminate the bottlenecks and satisfy the information needs of the users involved in the application and enrolment processes. The current information provisions and the processes are inadequate and are creating data quality and data accessibility issues. The solution to the problem situation is multiple requiring the redesign of the processes and the use of technology to eliminate and error proof these processes. Technology will be used at various stages within the application and enrolment processes to achieve this. This report gives a series of recommendations to achieve this goal. A number of criteria were defined in order to evaluate the recommendations. The recommendations performed well in the great majority of these criteria and can therefore be viewed as a success. These recommendations also explore other areas such as security, usability and data protection that make the recommendations comprehensive ...
