To Build the Student Absence System within SIS
📄 Project Abstract
This project takes a look at the procedures involved with the Self-certification of absence due to illness and the coursework requests for extensions and exemptions. It aims to automate this process according to the University of Leeds requirements. This new system is proposed to be integrated within the School Information System at the School of Computing, University of Leeds. This system will provide the students with the ability to submit Self-certifications and requests for coursework extensions or exemptions through SIS, online. It will also assist the relevant personnel in the SoC with the School Examination Board Meetings by producing reports for this. There are possible future enhancements for this outlined in the report, some of which could lead to further projects.
