Code-switching is used around the world in general. It occurs when two distinct languages are spontaneously used in one or more paragraph utterances. Code- switching is a dynamic mechanism as well. Multiple stages of switching or combining the language skills used are needed. In different parts of the world, individuals use various languages to communicate each other. Nigeria, for example, is a nation with a rich diversity of indigenous peoples, cultures and languages. It is also normal for students to speak their native language in addition to the official language, the national language and even the foreign language of cultural communication. Okay, without Sociolinguistics, we can't do code-switching and code-mixing.
