This thesis "The Role of Federal College of Education, Zaria on the Educational Development of Nigeria'' researches into the relevance of the aims and objectives of the Federal College of Education, Zaria in bringing about educational development in Nigeria. The main variables in the study include: The developmentalobjectives of the college, funding and infrastructure and staffing. Null hypotheses were stated on the three variables. The study was a survey of the theoretical views and statistical analysis of responses from FCE senior and junior staff. The statistical techniques employed for the analysis and testing of the hypotheses was the table of percentages and pooled variance T-Test. System analysis model was adopted as the theoretical framework for the research. The major findings of the study show that the opinions of senior staff and junior staff significantly disagree on the contribution of Federal College of Education, Zaria to the educational development of Nigeria.
