Organizational productivity is generally seen as a measure of the amount of output generated per unit of input. In many countries, public sector productivity has been assumed to be zero in the national accounts (Yankson, 2012). An organization made up of employees often rely on the productiveness of the individual employees which determine the success and ultimate survival of the organization (Schaufeli, Ouweneel, & Le Blanc, 2013). Additionally, the workplace environment's quality has an impact on employee motivation and organizational performance. Employee engagement with the organization, particularly with their immediate environment, has a significant impact on their error rate, level of innovation, and interaction with other employees, as well as absenteeism and, ultimately, the number of years they stay on the job (Yankson , 2012).
