Electronic banking often referred to as e-banking is defined as the automated delivery of new and traditional banking products and services directly to customers through electronic interactive communication channels (Mobereck, 2007). Electronic banking could be seen as any banking activity accessed by electronic means. It can be used for retail banking and business to business transactions as well as for facilitating large money transfers. Electronic-banking includes all the systems that permit financial institutions, customers, individuals and businesses to access accounts, transact business and obtain information on financial products and services through a public or private network including the internet. Electronic banking delivery systems include the following which form the hub of this research work: online banking, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Electronic money transfer, and payment cards.
