RSS propagation as a method for automated content distribution management
📄 Project Abstract
For a modern computer user, there are often a lot of video, audio, and application files that are acquired periodically or frequently updated. In this environment it is difficult to keep track of all the latest versions, and then to find and acquire these when they are available. As such it is proposed that an application capable of utilising existing technologies could be designed to alleviate this problem. This report covers the issue of content distribution in the 21st century, and presents the research, design and development of a prototype client of automatic content distribution based on RSS management and propagation.
