📄 Project Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the relationship between motivational patterns and student's academic achievement in Enugu Education Zone in Enugu State. To guide the study four (4) purpose of the study, three (3) research questions and two (2) hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The design adopted for this study was a correlation survey design. The population of the study consists of all SS 1 students from the three Local Government area of Enugu Education Zone numbering 4,531. Out of that number, 459 were sampled using simple random technique. The student's motivational pattern rating scale designed by the researcher and validated by experts was the research instrument. The data collected was analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance.
