PORNOGRAPHY ADDICTION AS CORRELATE OF PSYCHOSOCIAL AND ACADEMIC ADJUSTMENT OF STUDENTS IN UNIVERSITIES IN LAGOS STATE

📄 Project Abstract

The study sought to investigate the relationship among pornography addiction, Psychosocial and Academic adjustment of students in Universities in Lagos State. In order to achieve this objective, eight research questions were formulated and three hypotheses postulated. The subjects for the study consisted of six hundred and sixteen full time third year undergraduate students from two Universities in Lagos State. They were composed using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a researcher designed Questionnaire titled Pornography Addiction, Psychosocial and Academic Adjustment Instrument. The instrument was given to three experts in Educational Psychology and Guidance and Counselling for validation. The experts made their corrections based on simplicity and clarity of language, item coverage of the content, clarity of instruction and so on.
