Open World Multilevel Game for Teenagers and Adults

📄 Project Abstract

Falling Sky is an interesting 3D fast-paced game developed exclusively for the Windows platform. It requires the player to have quick reaction time and attentiveness. The game is designed in such a way that the level of difficulty increases as the player goes higher in level. The main aim of each level is to gather all the pickups and the level is completed. The pickups have been placed around the game arena in a manner that will allow the player to interact with every part of the play area. This allows the player to explore the whole level before completing it. The observation research methodology and quantitative research methodology were used to evaluate if the idea was feasible or not to go ahead with. Data were obtained from the game distribution platform known as Steam. The feedback gotten from the Steam platform proved to be in favour of the development of games that fall into this genre.
