📄 Project Abstract

We live in a world where the volume of information to process is ever-increasing and the ability to make instant judgements has become essential. One of such areas is email, as we own multiple mailboxes and have to keep up with all of them on a daily basis. One way to help a user in such circumstances is to pre-sort incoming emails. However, the crucial weakness of existing methods is that it's done on the cloud, which means that users frequently find themselves vendor-locked and privacy becomes a big concern. This project looks for a way to pre-sort incoming emails locally on the devices of end users. The solution proposed supports any email provider and gives users the freedom to choose a more ethical email provider without sacrificing the utility that pre-sorting of emails provides.
