Married Female Students Values On Family Activities In Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria

The study was carried out on married female students' values on family activities in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Survey Research design was adopted for the study. Six research questions and five null hypotheses were raised. The population of the married female students was 1,645 and the sample size was 167. Simple random sampling technique was used for selecting the sample. The data collected were analyzed using frequency, means and percentages. t-test and Chisquare were used to test null hypotheses. The main findings were that, academic demand is number one factor affecting married female student's household activities. In addition, the test of null hypotheses revealed that, there was significant difference in the views of married undergraduates and postgraduates on the factors affecting activities most preferred by married female students, postgraduate married female students were of the view that academic demand is the main factor affecting household activities while un...
