📄 Project Abstract

This study examined the effects of marital roles on career of women. This study was prompted by the ever closing gap between the male female gender in the developing world and how women cope with multitask and is still able to perform at par with their male colleague at the work place. Quantitative research approach was employed through a face-to-face structured interviewed among 386 respondents that were randomly selected from four universities. All the three tiers of university system in Nigeria were covered. A three-level form of analysis using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses were used in analysing the data. The findings among others shows that the average age at marriage among the women respondents is 26.9 years while average age among their spouse is 31.7 years.
