📄 Project Abstract

This research is the study of death and sunshine in two works of Albert Camus, L'étranger (The stranger) and La peste ( The pestilence). Albert Camus is an Algerian-Frenchman who lived in thetwentieth century. He was a prolific writer who wrote novels, drama and political essays. This study considers the themes of death and sunshine which appear much in his literary works. The work is divided into six chapters : The first is a general overview of the problem. The importance of the study as well as the objectif and limitations are also shown in this chapter. The second chapter is a literature review of the studies already carried out on the literary works of Albert Camus. While there exist many studies already carried out on the works of Camus and especially on the L'étranger which is one of our principal books, most of these studies are on the theme of death.
