📄 Project Abstract
This descriptive study determined the Knowledge And Use Of Motivational Strategies In Teaching - Learning Process Among Teachers In Nursing Programmes In Selected States South-East Zone, Nigeria. Knowledge and effective usage of these motivational strategies will enhance effective teaching and learning. Population of study was 112 teachers in the selected states of the South-East. The states were randomly selected and the entire subjects used for the study. Questionnaire developed by the research was used to elicit data on the teachers' demographic information, knowledge and usage of the motivational strategies in teaching learning process. Descriptive and Inferential statistical methods were employed to analyze the data generated from the respondents. The findings revealed that majority 104 (97.2%) of the respondents have heard about motivational strategies. Also, majority 104 (97.2%) indicated application of the strategies in their lessons.
