Recreation is a critical dimension of the quality of life for all people. It is a vehicle through which people have fun, meet new friends, and develop skills and competencies. The word Recreation is commonly viewed from the concept of play which is usually the term for children's recreational activities. Recreation is freely chosen, enjoyable and beneficial leisure time activity in which one voluntarily engage in because of the satisfaction derived from them (Adeniyi, 2000). He also affirmed that recreation renews our strength and spirit after toil. Thus, it is regarded as a tool for mental and physical therapy, and for preparing the body for performance. Tokildson (2005), defined recreation as a voluntary activity a person chooses to participate in during available leisure time, which generates an experience that results in satisfaction, and may lead to enjoyment, pleasure, achievement and / or sense of well being.
