Information Management In Sabon Gari Local Government Secretariat, Kaduna State

📄 Project Abstract

The study was undertaken to investigate the information management in Sabon Gari Local Government Area Secretariat of Kaduna State. The study examined among others: the types of information generated/acquired in the secretariat, the methods adopted for organizing, storing, retrieving and disseminating information. How information is managed and the reason for managing generated/acquired information in the secretariat. To achieve these, five objectives were set for the study. The research adopted case study method. 200 respondents were selected for the study using non probability sampling techniques, questionnaire, observation and interview were the instruments employed for collecting data. Data collected was presented using frequency distributions, tables, percentages.
