Family Crises Management Patterns by Families in Edo State
📄 Project Abstract
This study was designed to investigate some selected crises that occur in family and how they are managed, with a view to determining appropriate strategies that could be employed by families in coping with crises. The study answered three research questions and tested four hypotheses. The population of the study was made up of families in Edo State, within the families, husband, wife and children between ages of 15-29. Three Local Government Areas in the area of study were purposefidly selected for the study, questionnaire was the instrument used to collect relevant data fi-om a sample of 200 husbands, 280 wives and 120 children purposefilly selected. 556 questionnaires out of 600 were completed and retrived. Frequencies and percentages were used to answer the research questions while chi square (X2) at 0.05 level of significance was used for testing the hypotheses.
