📄 Project Abstract
The study is designed to determine the effects of cooperative and individualized methods of learning on students' achievement in Biology. The purpose was to ascertain the effects of cooperative learning method on students' achievement, the effects of individualized learning method on students' achievement, the effects of cooperative and individualized learning methods on the achievements of male and female students. Quasi - experimental design specifically the non-equivalent control group design was used for the study. The study was conducted in Ohafia educational zone of Abia State. The sample used consisted of 1552 Senior Secondary two biology students. Stratified random sampling technique was used to draw the schools from where the intact classes were chosen. The two selected intact classes where randomly assigned through balloting group A and B to represent the cooperative and the control.
