Disability is very common worldwide. It is a condition that has affected individual, family and the society at large. The people with disabilities are often excluded from the mainstream of society, and hence, may not contribute to the development of the society optimally. Nigeria with about 1billion population, it is surprising to know that 25% of Nigerians are disabled (Lang and Upah, 2008). If such number of people are excluded from the mainstream of society, it then means Nigerians are missing the services of these unrecognized set of people (Mickailakis 1997). Disability is defined as an impairment that limits a person's ability to function in a way that most people do (Heward, 2009). Disability is equally seen as a reduction of function, or the absence of a particular body, part or organ, for example a person who has an arm or leg missing has a physical disability.
