DYNAMICS OF CONCENTRIC LINES IN PAINTING is an experiment aimed at utilizing concentric lines in developing a dynamic concept, through the adaptation of waves and movement. The study was motivated by the need to create painting in clear lines. Circles and spirals played major roles in the articulation of the concept of concentric lines in painting. Through the synthesis and subjective analysis of these natural phenomena (circles and spirals), the concept was visualized as circles, arcs, curves, spirals, curvilinear lines and concentric circles. Other linear elements like straight and zig-zag lines were rarely used since the study was focused on curvatures and circles. Line touches on most aspects of our life. As such it is a generally known phenomenon in the sense that when a line is mentioned or drawn, the meaning is easily deduced by the audience.
