Critical Dialogue with Christian Narrative Literature

Christian narrative literature presents not only a strong message but it also employs a good deal of the thriller tradition with its characteristic mass appeal to make the genre of literary relevance. This research covers the study of Christian Narrative Literature as means to kindling such literary interest that has uncovered reality through religious lenses. This research effort has made a foray into the field of Christian fiction and discovered that the genre is a major contributor to the popular culture. Its messages, language and styles have found a relevant medium within the expanding genre of the thriller tradition. The research is carried out by engaging the two primary texts and other relevant secondary texts in the exploration of the themes, diction, setting and characterization to situate the social and literary relevance of the genre especially in educating, informing and answering moral questions to a large number of readerships.
