📄 Project Abstract
The purpose of this study was to compare the socio-economic and socio-emotional effects of living apart on newlyweds and older couples in Kaduna State. Six specific objectives with six research questions were stated and four Null Hypotheses were formulated. Among the objectives were to find out the socio-economic effects of living apart on newlyweds and older couples and to compare the socio-emotional effects of living apart on newlyweds and older couples in Kaduna State. The sample size used for the study was three hundred and seventy (370) employed married men and women, consisting of 164 newlyweds and 206 older couples. Structured questionnaire was used in collecting data. A total of 380 copies of questionnaire were administered and 370 copies were retrieved.
