The recurrent nature of yeast nfectons and the subsequent use of antfungal medcnes for treatment, pose a potental threat to women's health and safety worldwde, whch could also gve rse to antfungal resstance. The am of ths study s to evaluate the antmcrobal effcacy of garlc and tumerc aganst mult-drug resstance of Candda albcans, assocated wth Vulvovagnal nfecton. Results of the ant-mcrobal susceptblty test by dsc dffuson method revealed that ethanolc extract of both herbal products, was generally more effectve n nhbtng the growth of Candda albcans. As observed from the results, garlc was 1.3 tmes, more effectve than turmerc, at a concentraton of 400mg/ml. n addton, each of the concentratons of ethanolc extract of garlc was more effectve than the correspondng concentratons of tumerc extract. The antmcrobal actvty of the garlc extract dsplayed more effectve result aganst Candda albcans.
