This project is based on the study of community participation in rural development in Nigeria (case of Igbo-Eze South L.G.A.) which was conducted 2009. The objectives of the study were broad and specific; which gears to determine whether communities in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area participate substantially in rural development. While specifically it tries to ascertain the extent of community participation in rural development in Igbo-Eze South L.G.A. and to determine whether the problem of inadequate funding affect community participation in rural development in Igbo-Eze South L.G.A. The method adopted for this design was stratified random sampling; a sample size of 100 people was drawn from five villages in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area to represent the entire population.
