📄 Project Abstract

This study investigated the attitude of students towards the implementation of Continuous Assessment in secondary school, Makurdi, Benue State. A total of 430 respondents made up of reading teachers and students were selected for the test. The cluster sampling technique was used in the selection. Among the major objectives of the study were the determination of the relationship between students continuous assessment and their performances in examination and the influence of teachers' years of teaching experiences on their conduct of continuous assessment. Data collected were subjected to statistical analysis using the correlation procedure. The result revealed that teachers' years of experience did not significantly correlate with their conduct of continuous assessment.
