significance of financial reporting quality cannot be understated in the financial palace. Over the years, users of financial information place relevance on the informational content of financial reports in making decisions. However, the extent to which the information is conveyed in the financial statement remains a subject of concern. The objective of the study is to enhance the understanding of value relevance and empirically investigate value relevance of accounting information of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria. We limit our research by emphasizing on value relevance of earnings and equity book values. Multiple regressions are used as a tool of analysis. The result reveals that the information contains in the financial statements of Nigerian Deposit Money Banks is of relevance within the period of the study.
