📄 Project Abstract

This study assessed Mathematics teachers' mastery of the newly introduced content areas of the General Mathematics curriculum, in Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State. The objective of the study was to determine the proportion of Mathematics teachers that have mastery of the newly introduced contents of General Mathematics curriculum. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Five (5) research questions and three (3) null hypotheses guided the study. Teachers' Mastery Test on Mathematics Contents developed by the researcher was the instrument used for data collection. The instrument consisted of thirty (30) multiple choice questions and fifteen (15) essay questions with internal reliability coefficient of 0.96 and inter-raters reliability coefficient of 0.70 respectively.
