ASSESSMENT OF INFORMATION MANAGEMENT IN NATIONAL HAJJ COMMISSION OF NIGERIA (NAHCON)

📄 Project Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess information management (IM) in National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Specifically the study sought to; determine the types of information generated and acquired in NAHCON, how information is managed, determine the extent to which information is relevant and useful, determining the extent to which the NAHCON is Psatisfied with management of the available information, and lastly, identify the relevant and available ICTs utilized for information management in the NAHCON. Five research questions were formulated in order to achieve the objectives of the study. A descriptive survey methodology was adopted. The population comprised the entire 94 staff members at the NAHCON's headquarters in Abuja. The study relied on data collected through an open ended and closed ended questionnaire structured to answer the research questions raised.
