ASSESSMENT OF DETERMINANTS INFLUENCING UTILIZATION OF SCHOOL HEALTH SERVICES AMONG SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN KANO STATE, NIGERIA

📄 Project Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess the determinants influencing utilization of school health care services among senior secondary schools in Kano State, Nigeria. To achieve the purpose of this study'ex post facto research design was used for this study.Multistage sampling procedurewas used which included stratified random sampling technique was used for the study. The sample of the study was drawn through stratification of forty four(44) L.G.A. of Kano State in to 3 senatorial districts. Simple random sampling was used to select the sample L.G.A. from 3 senatorial districts, the proportionate sample technique was used to select requirednumber of respondents at each of the senior secondary school selected for the study.500copies of questionnaire wasdistributed to respondents and 498(99.6%) copies filled and retured.
