APPRAISAL OF ADMINISTRTVE FUNCTIONS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS AND SUPERVISORS ON SCHOOL MANAGEMENT IN ABIA STATE

📄 Project Abstract

The study was carried out to investigate the appraisal of administrative functions of secondary schools principals and supervisors on school management in Abia State. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The entire population of both the principals and supervisors in Abia State formed the sample size for the study. A researcher developed questionnaire was used for data collection. Three experts validated the instrument while Cronbach Alpha method was applied in testing the internal reliability of the instrument for the study. Four research questions and two null hypotheses, tested at 0.05 level of significant guided the study. Mean and standard deviation and real number limits were used to analyze the research questions while t-test statistics was used to test the two hypotheses for the study.
