The building and construction industry is the highest active contributor to environmental degradation the world faces today. According to literature sources, the construction industry has been under immense pressure to review its practices for quite some time now. Regenerative architecture is an approach developed to improve on products and services delivered by the industry. Regenerative design is an approach that recognizes the damage that is occurring at an environmental level and replenishing the damage by treating the natural and built environment as equal partners, as this mutual beneficial relationship between these two will improve the natural environment.
