APPLICATION OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (ICTs) IN SELECTED PUBLISHING COMPANIES IN KADUNA, ZARIA AND KANO

📄 Project Abstract

This study was carried out to investigate the Application of Information and Communication Technology in selected Publishing Companies in Kaduna and Kano States of Nigeria. Five research questions and 3 hypotheses were formulated and tested with respect to the type of publishing activities performed; type of ICTs facilities available; effect of the ICTs on activities; level of usefulness of ICTs facilities in publishing activities and ICTs competencies possessed by the staff in the selected Publishing Companies in Kaduna and Kano States of Nigeria. Survey research design was used for this study. The total number of 100 were drawn as population and used as sample size. The three selected publishing companies were: The New Nigeria Newspapers Ltd, Kaduna, Northern Nigerian Publishing Corporation, Zaria and Triumph Publishing Company, Kano.
