An Interactive Tutorial on Animation in SVG
📄 Project Abstract
The overall objectives of this project was to design an interactive web-based tutorial to teach the basic and advanced concepts of Scalable Vector Graphics. The intended audience for this tutorial primarily consists of second year GI21 students at the University of Leeds and the general users of the Internet. The tutorial will remain on the Internet after the project will finish, with a high possibility of joining a major network, and continuously improving the tutorial in the future. Research was conducted to determine the need for an interactive SVG tutorial on animation and how the web-based tutorial should be developed. The minimum requirements were captured by interviewing several students taking the current GI21 module, students who already taken the module in previous years, and personal friends who have an interest in SVG development.
