The School health responsibilities are to provide a healthy environment that is conducive for teaching, learning and healthy living. This is possible only when adequate and appropriate school health services are provided. Secondary schools in Kaduna State, as in other parts of Nigeria, provide different health services. However, the level and quality of these services depend on many factors, like the commitment of the Ministry of Education and the involvement of parents and the community. As it is not clear what kind of health services are provided and to what extent they are maintained and utilised in secondary schools of Kaduna State, this study was conducted to evaluate school health services in secondary schools of Kaduna State.
