An Educational Interactive Web Site for Early Learning Children

📄 Project Abstract

Once I had viewed the list of available project assignments my initial decision was to create a game, after some further thought my target audience was to be early learning children. After a discussion with my tutor, Dr K.Djemame the idea of producing an educational interactive type game was to be pursued. After some research in educational computer programs for young children I soon noticed there was limited offerings over the Internet in comparison to multimedia CD ROMS, e.g. titles from 'Dorling Kindersley'. What I had discovered is that although the Internet catered plenty of educational content utilising interactive techniques, the knowledge base required to access these sites in order to use them fully needed a user with a significant level of intelligence/computer literacy.
