"AN APPRAISAL OF THE ACTIVITIES OF DEVELOPMENT BANKS TOWARDS THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA. A CASE STUDY OF NIGERIAN AGRICULTURAL AND CO-OPERATIVE BANK LIMITED". This research work is mainly concerned with determinining to what extent the activities of Development Banks have contributed to the economic development of Nigeria. In this light, the project is concerned with such important issues as, the basic motive for the establishment of these specialist financial institutions in Nigeria. Other important issues covered are determining whether the activities of the Development Banks are actually geared towards achieving the role for which they were established and, the sectors of the economy covered by these Banks. These aspects are contained in the first and second chapters of the research report.
