This research set out to study the communication approaches used by Viral Hepatitis Association of Nigeria (VHAN), an organization that is at the forefront of the fight against viral hepatitis in Nigeria, in its hepatitis interventions in Kaduna State. The population of the study included teachers and students of ECWA Goodnews School, Narayi High Cost, Kaduna which is one of the schools that the organization has been interacting with on hepatitis issues for years. This is because the school is popular for academic excellence in Kaduna metropolis. People infected by viral hepatitis, and are receiving treatment from VHAN were also engaged in this study. The theory that underpins this research is Health Belief Model (HBM).
