ACCESS TO CARE SERVICES BY MEMBERS IN HIV-AIDS SUPPORT GROUPS IN ENUGU STATE
📄 Project Abstract
Care and support are valuable services that members in HIV/AIDS support groups receive which comprises of medical, psychological, socio-economic, nutritional, and legal from the government, non-governmental organizations, faith based organizations and community based organizations. The study is on Access to care services by members in HIV/AIDS support groups in Enugu-state. The questionnaire and the in-depth interview guide were used as the instruments for collection of data from 562 respondents. The quantitative data were analyzed using version 20 of the statistical package for social science (SPSS) and frequency distribution tables and percentages (%), pie-chats and bar-charts were used to present the results. Chi-square (x2) was used to test the three hypotheses adopted for the study.
