📄 Project Abstract

The School of computing has a newsgroup (local.vacancies) that is used to pass on details of any employment opportunities that the school is notified to. A large majority of these opportunities are only suitable for students who have graduated and they may have trouble getting access to the local news facility. Also the details vary wildly and are often large verbose descriptions which would require the reader to extract the relevant details leaving large amounts of information irrelevant. This is a time consuming process for both the people entering the details and those reading it. This project aims to produce an XML Schema for a job description demonstrated by a web site in order to rectify both the accessibility and information consistency problems
