A Software Tool to support Learning of Mathematical Concepts for Students

📄 Project Abstract

This document provides a detailed report of a final year project that looks at the problem of computer based learning tools. With computers becoming more of an important tool for teaching, this report analyses the importance of computer aided learning and looks at what problems exist, in order to develop a solution that can solve these problems. With the above knowledge, the primary objective of this project was to design and develop a tool that aides students learning, by adapting to their ability and giving them feedback based on their performances. This tool would be a web based system that could be accessed by any computer with a web browser. Research was conducted on current systems that exist in this field, as well as examining the principle concepts behind teaching in general, in order to translate as much of this process as possible into the proposed teaching tool.
