Game playing has a long history within Artificial Intelligence (AI) research, and it has been a very popular machine learning research domain of AI. Basically, games have existed among many ancient peoples and are known in all contemporary human cultures. It has been suggested that the playing of games is one of the keys to defining the characteristics of man. The knowledge of game playing strategies that is gained through interaction with entertaining games such as; chess, poker, tic-tac-toe, and so on has found relevance in many real life applications. Examples of these include politics i.e. political game (Ajayi, 2007), the competition between firms, the conflict between government and labour, the fight to get bills passed from congress, the power of the judiciary, war and peace negotiations between countries, and many more, all of which are instances of game playing in action.
