📄 Project Abstract

Synchronous generators are mainly used for electric power generation. The problem of electric power in the country is largely due to inadequate power generation. This problem is characterized mainly by load shedding. To provide adequate electricity for the teeming populace of this country, various attempts have been made to enhance the output unit of synchronous generators. More importantly, increase in output power of synchronous generators has not kept pace with the increase in the power output of prime movers driving them. To this end, a hybrid synchronous machine capable of delivering ultra high output power is developed.
